Roll Back & Restore
The Roll Back Feature in ADUC Admin Plus allows you to undo any change made with our software, in an intuitive and deceptively easy way.
Every change you make with ADUC Admin Plus to your Active Directory or network environment is logged to an event viewer log file of choice. And can be Rolled Back from that event viewer log file.
Suppose you have accidentally deleted a security group with 600 members scattered all over your Active Directory, a group with rights to resources such as your file systems or your web servers. Easy. Find that entry and restore the deleted object and its members by simply rolling it back from the event viewer.
Let’s say you changed the service state of several services on a dozen computers in your network via the Services Scanner feature, but want to restore them to their original configuration. Just as easy. Open the ADUC Admin Plus event viewer, search for the right log entry, and roll it back.
With ADUC Admin Plus you can restore objects to your Active Directory. If you have thrown them away with ADUC Admin Plus, you can also restore attribute values, such as group memberships.
